How we operate and meetings in general

BCT currently meets on the third Monday monthly from September to June in St James Church Hall, Hilton Road, Bishopbriggs at 7.30pm.

The meetings are intended as a way in which people from Bishopbriggs Churches can learn about and from each other with a view to working cooperatively on the task of mission in Bishopbriggs and beyond.

All are welcome in addition to those who formally represent their churches. Anyone who stays in Bishopbriggs or is part of a sister ecumenical group is welcome to drop in as a visitor to any of our meetings. The Annual General Meeting is held in June.

Sub-groups formed from interested parties within the churches meet as required by the needs of the work in hand. There are sub-groups concerned with worship, study, communication and service to the community.

The current Office Bearers are:

Convenor – The Rev’d Robin Paisley, St James Scottish Episcopal Church
Secretary – Mrs Mary Welsh, St Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church
Treasurer – Mr Jim Stormont, Springfield Cambridge Church of Scotland

We will be partnering with businesses in the local community that will allow us to give free advice and services to our local community.
